[In]distinct Cities presents research that investigates at how visually similar cities are to one another based on social media images. I worked with Tom Benson to display connections between cities in two ways: An interactive map linking similar cities together and a rank order of those cities along with their most distinct images. I enjoy the transition of the city rows as they reorder when a new city is selected.
