THE PROJECT
The aim of this project was to effectively represent and organize many individual pieces of data into one cohesive visual about our assigned country. I relied on standard graphical representations, like bar charts, donut charts, and isotypes for most of my visuals. The full print is 33.5" x 24.5".

THE DESIGN PROCESS
I received the data required for the project in class. I sketched out each visual separately before composing them together. Once I had a general idea of graphic style and placement, I began constructing the composition in Illustrator. My color palette was drawn from desert landscape and plants. In addition to representing the required data, I incorporated size of the largest cities relative to one another and "ratios of concern". I represented these ratios as isotypes because they lost their significance represented as percentages.
